• This project consisted of work on the new campus of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 825 Training Fund. This site will allow Local 825 to provide hands on training for operation and maintenance of heavy construction equipment. • The 8,740 SF Training Center consists of Administrative Offices, Classrooms, a Shop and Maintenance Area. The Training Center was constructed with Engineered Cold Formed Metal Framing and Metal Roof Trusses. The exterior siding is TruCedar Steel Siding. The maintenance area of the Training Center has been finished with a radiant heat flooring system, installed under the concrete slab as well as EmeryTop 400, an abrasion resistant, heavy duty floor topping designed to withstand heavy construction equipment. On the administrative and classroom side of the Training Center, a polished concrete floor has been installed. The mechanical system at the Training Center is an Energy Efficient system. • The 700 SF Field Office is designed to simulate an actual construction field office on a job site. Construction of the field office consisted of wood framing and pre-fabricated wood trusses. The exterior siding is TruCedar Steel Siding. • The 400 SF Pump House provides domestic water to the buildings on the campus. Construction of the pump house consisted wood framing and pre-fabricated wood trusses. The exterior siding is TruCedar Steel Siding. Well pumps, water storage tanks, and other equipment have been installed at the pump house to provide water to the other buildings on campus. • Site improvements include paving, new entrances, site lighting, and the installation of flag poles. A new domestic water line was installed across the campus from the pump house to both the field office and training center. • A new natural gas service was also installed across the campus, with new connections at each of the new buildings.
